Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how K-Nine Solutions Dog Training (“K-Nine Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit kninesolutions.com (the “Site”) or interact with our services, including booking a consultation.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you book a consultation or contact us, we collect the information you submit — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include about your dog or your inquiry. Bookings are scheduled through Calendly (see Section 4).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including:
Your IP address, approximate location, browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages you view, links you click, scroll depth, and time spent on the Site
Referring website and the search terms or ads that brought you here
Session activity — including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling — captured as anonymized session recordings and heatmaps (see Section 4, Microsoft Clarity)
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not knowingly collect information from children (see Section 10).
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and support our advertising. These fall into a few categories:
Essential cookies — required for the Site to function.
Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
Advertising cookies — used to measure ad performance and show relevant ads (Google Ads).
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Schedule, confirm, and follow up on consultation bookings
Respond to your inquiries and provide our services
Understand and improve how the Site performs and how visitors use it
Measure and improve the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising
Maintain the security and integrity of the Site
Comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services We Use
We share information with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy governing its use of data.
Service
Purpose
Privacy Policy
Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity). We use Microsoft Clarity to capture how visitors interact with the Site — including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and general navigation — in the form of aggregated, anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. This helps us improve the Site’s design and usability. Keystrokes in form fields are masked by default and are not intended to be captured. For more information, see Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Advertising and remarketing. We use Google Ads to measure conversions and to show ads to people who have visited our Site (“remarketing”). Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Analytics Opt-Out
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain the personal information you provide — such as booking and contact records — for as long as necessary to provide our services and for our ongoing legitimate business purposes, unless you ask us to delete it or a specific retention period is required or permitted by law. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics providers (for example, Google Analytics event data is retained for up to 14 months).
7. Your Privacy Rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
Access and delete your personal information
Correct inaccurate personal information
Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
We honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.
EEA / UK residents (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Our legal bases for processing include your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site, and performance of a service you request (such as a booking). You may withdraw consent at any time and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. We respond to GPC signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by California law. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we may not respond to DNT signals.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
